Musicians who attend with their groups are kindly invited to inform us if they would like to participate in the evening concerts with a presentation of about 30 minutes.

Participation fees

The participation fee for the musicians is €50 plus €10 for the meals, including...

- access to all classes and workshops of the meeting
- the dance workshop "Samba de Gafieira - discovery" on Sunday morning
- the three evening concerts
- lunches on Saturday and Sunday (from experience we can say that there is usually enough left over for evening meals)

The participation fee for the dancers is €35
- for the class "Samba de Gafieira" (for 2 days: Saturday and Sunday)
and €20
- for the classes "Samba no pé" and "Samba de Gafieira - discovery"
including the three evening concerts

Classes and concerts take place in two different locations :

The first of these ‎is located in the centre of Toulouse, the second slightly outside, accessible by coach if you do not have your own car (the nearest metro station is a little further away...)

Accomodation facilities
As for accomodation we can offer some private lodgings which are, however, mainly occupied by the professional musicians who come from far away or for groups from abroad. We will of course inform you if any of these are vacant.

Here is some information to help you with your search:

We would like to emphasize that the Choro meeting is a strictly non-commercial event organized BY musicians FOR musicians. Participation fees are exclusively used to cover the costs of the event and the expenses of the professional musicians.

The aims of the meeting are
to enlarge the contacts of the French, Italian, Spanish, German, British … musicians,
to give each region the chance to present their work to the public,
to create a centre of systematic approach to the Choro,
to invite professional musicians of high standard to organise master classes and animate the exchange of ideas on musical training,
to report on the event in the media to make the Choro known to an ever-growing public.


We are looking forward to this new Choro meeting and three days of exchange, participation and musical pleasure.
